The Sierra Vista Unified School District Exceptional Student Services Department provides educational programs and support services for children who have educational disabilities and exceptionalities.

The educational programs in the SVUSD are concerned with all phases of individual growth. Students will be provided with sound academic opportunities to facilitate their physical, emotional, social, scholastic, and vocational potential, the goal of Exceptional Student Services Department is to implement this philosophy into practices for students with disabilities and exceptionalities.

To ensure that students with disabilities and exceptionalities receive the necessary support and individual interventions for progress and achievement in education, employment, and independent living.
