As we gear up for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, we are thrilled to extend our warmest greetings to you and express our sincere gratitude for choosing Sierra Vista Unified School District for your student's education journey. Your continued partnership is invaluable, and we are excited about the prospect of having your student remain with us for another enriching academic year.
To ensure a seamless transition into the new school year, we are commencing our Enrollment Verification Process starting February 1st. This process, formerly known as Spring Registration, plays a pivotal role in our planning efforts for schedules, bus routes, and staffing needs. Your prompt participation is crucial for the success of this endeavor.
The Enrollment Verification Process is a legal requirement mandated by Arizona State law for all school districts. Obtaining proof of residency annually for every student attending the district is essential to ensure we are serving our community effectively. Your cooperation in providing the necessary documentation is greatly appreciated.
This process will take place online, accessible through your ParentVue account. Log in and navigate to the Online Registration section to verify and update essential information such as contact details, emergency contacts, and medical information. Additionally, proof of residency, such as a bill or mortgage statement, will be required. You can conveniently upload the necessary documents or visit any school office or the Welcome Center to submit physical copies.
We understand that not everyone may have easy access to a computer. Therefore, all elementary schools will have computers available during office hours for parents to utilize. Our Welcome Center at the Rothery Education Center is also open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, offering computers and assistance for the Enrollment Verification Process.
It's imperative to complete the Enrollment Verification Process by March 31 for all currently enrolled students returning to an SVUSD school for the 2024-2025 school year. Failure to do so will result in your student not being registered for the new school year, hindering the issuance of class schedules. In such a scenario, affected students would need to complete the entire registration process again.
Once again, thank you for entrusting Sierra Vista Unified School District with your student's education. We are eager to embark on this new school year together and are here to assist you every step of the way. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Welcome Center at 520-515-2761.
