🌟🧠 National School Psychology Week (NSPW) is here, and the theme is "Let's Grow Together"! 🌱🎒
From November 6th to 10th we celebrate the incredible role of our school psychologists in fostering student success. 🏫👨🎓👩🏫
School psychologists collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments, strengthening the connections between home, school, and the community. They bring expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to help our children and youth thrive socially, behaviorally, emotionally, and academically. 🌈📚
Let's honor and appreciate the vital work of school psychologists! 🙌❤️ #NSPW2023 #LetsGrowTogether #StudentSuccess 💪🧡

It's Parent Teacher Conferences!
October 19 = 1:15-6:00
October 20 = 1:15-4:00
Any students with 3 or more Fs will have conferences arranged with all teachers. Our office staff have already reached out to these families for dates and times.
Teachers will be reaching out on PTC days with students earning a D or an F in their classes. These conferences will be completed via phone calls. If you would like to arrange an in person conference with your student's teacher(s), please reach out to the teacher(s) to arrange times.
If your student is earning a C or higher, a PTC is not required; however, if you would like to conference with your student's teacher(s), please reach out in order to reserve times.
We look forward to working together to promote better behavior and academics!
Respectfully,
Kathryn Wright
Principal
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Bullying can impact a student’s education, physical, emotional health, and their safety and well-being.
Together we can create communities that are kinder, more inclusive and accepting for all students. In support of National Bully Prevention Month we are encouraging all SVUSD students and staff to wear orange on October 18th to show unity against bullying.
All SVUSD schools and offices will be closed for fall break from October 9th through 13th. We are wishing all SVUSD families a safe and joyful fall break.
Way to go JCMS Volleyball!! You ladies represented the Coyote Way! Congratulations!
Lights Out Frights Out - Get your Halloween Glow On was the motto of the first dance at JCMS. About 220 students had fun and enjoyed their evening “glowing”. Thanks to the Student Council's creative decorations there was a photo booth, a chance to buy pizza and drinks and plenty of room to dance. Thank you Student Council and all the wonderful volunteers who supported this dance!

The evening was rounded up with pizza and snacks to enjoy. A big shout out to all our teachers for creating and aiding the event, Pedro our mascot, and student council for assisting us with a big smile on their faces. Thank you JCMS families for supporting the event!
