Dear Parents, We wanted to inform you that JCMS bus routes will be running approximately 25-30 minutes late today. This delay is due to elementary schools delaying release due to lightning and current weather. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Sincerely, JCMS

Today, Wednesday the 7th is an early release day at all SVUSD schools. Elementary School parents, please remember school ends at 12:45 pm today. Middle School ends at 2:15 pm and Buena High School at noon. Thank you for your support!

Dear SVUSD,
We are pleased to inform you that phone and internet services have been fully restored at all our sites. Our office staff is currently working hard to catch up on calls and emails, and we kindly ask for your patience as they manage the backlog.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

Good Morning SVUSD,
All phone and internet services are down district wide. School and district offices cannot make or receive phone calls or email as this time. Dear SVUSD Families,
We wanted to update you about several new initiatives and changes in our transportation department. As we work to improve our services, we are experiencing some growing pains with these new features, and we appreciate your understanding and patience.
Student Tracking:
We are excited to announce a new student tracking system that logs students on and off the bus using their new RFID student IDs. This system will allow you to track your child's bus and receive notifications if there are any issues. Currently, we are in the initial phase of this rollout and will provide updated information as the system becomes fully operational. IDs will be assigned at the school sites in the coming days, so please remind your student of the importance of keeping their ID safe and not losing it.
New Routes:
We have heard your concerns regarding the Palominas-BHS routes. Due to budget constraints and other factors, Palominas could not provide routes for high school students this year. As a solution, SVUSD has agreed to partially fund these routes. We prioritized student transportation to relieve the burden on parents. Please note that we do not receive State funding for these routes.
Routing Software:
We recently implemented new routing software, which inadvertently assigned too many students to certain routes. We are actively working to fix these issues and assure you they will be resolved promptly. Drivers have been instructed not to operate a route if the bus is over capacity. In such cases, an overflow bus will be dispatched to pick up additional students, which may cause delays. We are reviewing and adjusting routes, so your student may have a new route in the future.
Transportation Changes:
To streamline communication, please note that any transportation changes made at your student's school after 12 PM will not be effective until the second business day.
We are committed to providing safe and efficient transportation for all students and thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this transition period. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
Best regards,
SVUSD Transportation

Dear Parents,
We wanted to inform you that JCMS bus routes will be running approximately 45-50 minutes late today. This delay is due to mishaps on the first day of school and elementary schools delaying release due to lightning.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Sincerely,
JCMS

Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,
As we approach the end of another school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've embarked upon together. This year has been filled with challenges, triumphs, and invaluable learning experiences for each and every one of us.
First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated teachers and staff who have gone above and beyond to ensure the success and well-being of our students. Your unwavering commitment and passion for education have made a profound impact on the lives of our students, and for that, we are truly grateful.
To our students, I commend you for your resilience, adaptability, and hard work throughout this academic year. Despite the uncertainties and obstacles we faced, you have demonstrated incredible perseverance and determination in pursuit of your goals. Your achievements, both academically and personally, are a testament to your strength and character.
As we bid farewell to another school year and look ahead to the summer break, I encourage each of you to take this time to rest, recharge, and reflect on your accomplishments. Whether you're spending time with family, exploring new interests, or simply enjoying some well-deserved relaxation, I hope you make the most of this opportunity to rejuvenate and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead.
Lastly, I want to express my sincere appreciation to our parents and guardians for your continued support and partnership. Your involvement in your child's education is invaluable, and together, we can ensure their success both inside and outside the classroom.
As we close this chapter and look forward to the opportunities that the future holds, let us carry forward the lessons we've learned, the friendships we've forged, and the memories we've created. May the spirit of curiosity, perseverance, and compassion continue to guide us in all our endeavors.
Wishing you all a safe, joyful, and rejuvenating summer break.
Warm regards,
Kathryn Wright

π We are so proud of our 8th graders at JCMS! π
After a wonderful day yesterday at the Cove and Veterans Park, filled with games, fun, and a lunch provided by our amazing JCMS PTO, we celebrated their promotion today! π
The celebration began with a warm welcome and a video recap of the school year as Coyotes, presented by Principal Wright and Assistant Principal Skarhus. Then, our students proudly walked the stage as we wished them all the best for high school. π
We couldnβt be prouder of our 8th graders and are deeply thankful to all the parents and family members who came out today to celebrate with us. Your support means everything!
Congratulations, Coyotes! πΎ #JCMSProud #8thGradePromotion #FutureHighSchoolers #CommunitySupport #CoyoteStrong
