The Storm in the Barn is a magical story that takes us to Kansas, 1937, in the midst of the Dust Bowl. Jack Clark is only 11 years old, but he must face the dust storms, the mysterious Dust Dementia and a strange and terrifying discovery he made in the barn next door. Jack finds himself questioning if he’s capable of being the hero. He is smaller than the other boys and not nearly as tough. He needs to protect his dying sister, overcome the sinister shadow lurking in the barn, and save his family. Maybe even save the world.
