Jake consistently shows great sportsmanship during practice and on game day. His grit and determination led him to win his first two matches of the season last week.

For 18 years, Mrs. Jurik has been a guiding light in the kindergarten classrooms of Village Meadows—helping little learners take their first big leap into education! 🏫✨
To her, kindergarten is a world of discovery, and she loves watching her students grow from playful preschoolers into confident first graders. Her classroom, affectionately called the Puppy Pack, is a warm and nurturing space where every child feels valued and supported—a perfect fit within the Wolf Pack family. 🐾💙
Mrs. Jurik embraces hands-on learning and small-group centers, always looking for new ways to spark curiosity and excitement in her students. She credits much of her success to her incredible paraprofessional, Mrs. Urbina, who works closely alongside her. 📝🎨📚
Outside the classroom, she’s a devoted grandmother, spending time at the Reid Park Zoo and Children’s Museum with her granddaughter. She enjoys knitting, reading, traveling, and family time—and this year, she’s preparing for an exciting new adventure: retirement! 🎉✈️

Last week’s Buena Showcase was an amazing event! Incoming Buena students had a fantastic time exploring all the incredible opportunities Buena has to offer. From academic departments and CTE programs to clubs, athletics, and community resources, there was so much to see and learn! 💙🤍

Madison Forsberg: Madison is an amazing student athlete who always works hard and doesn't hesitate to put her team first. Her positive attitude keeps her teammates around her focused and hard working. She scored 2 goals against Desert View which contributed to their 6-0 win. She controlled the midfield well and created opportunities for her teammates all night.
Sean Brown: Sean is a 3 year Varsity wrestler and has the title of one of the Captains on the team. His dedication to the team helps him push himself and the teammates around him. During sectionals, he dominated the 144 weight class and even took first place. Due to his amazing performance, he helped his team earn 2nd place overall for sectionals.
