Dear Palominas Families,
We hope this letter finds you well and excited for the upcoming school year. We wanted to inform you about some important updates regarding transportation for the 2024-2025 school year.
This year, both Sierra Vista Unified School District (SVUSD) and Palominas School District have encountered challenges with transportation due to bus driver vacancies and the limited availability of those able to fill these positions. As a result, SVUSD buses will be providing transportation for Palominas students to Buena High School, a change from previous years.
To ensure a smooth transition, we will be utilizing the routes that Palominas created last year. Please note that these routes may change based on ridership, but we will provide ample notice of any adjustments. All bus routes can be found on our website: https://www.svusd68.org/page/transportation
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all families for their patience and understanding as we navigate these challenges. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, especially during the first few weeks of school as we work out the details.

We are excited to announce that Buena has partnered with Rembrandt Photography to capture your student's yearbook and senior pictures! 📸✨ Rembrandt Photography will be available during our Colt Days from July 22nd through July 26th between 8 am and 2 pm.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to have their pictures taken, receive their ID photo, buy parking passes, and for new students to Buena to check out their Chromebooks. 💼🎓💻

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉 Our Welcome Center is relocating to a brand-new spot at the Rothery Education Center on Fry Blvd. To ensure a smooth transition, our Welcome Center will be closed this Friday, June 7th. But don't worry, we'll be back and ready to serve you in our new location right in the middle of the Rothery Education Center on Monday!
🌞 Also, please note our updated summer hours for the Welcome Center starting Monday, June 10th:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 7 AM - 12 PM
Tuesday and Thursday: 12 PM - 5 PM
Special Saturday Hours: July 27th from 8 AM - 12 PM.
