PDS

What is PBIS?

PBIS Stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. PBIS is a schoolwide system that uses proactive approaches to improve behavior and the overall school climate. PDS reinforces positive behaviors while providing additional support to those who may need it. We like to recognize and strengthen our students; we love to include our teachers in the reinforcements!

Lesson Plans

Lesson plans have been developed and provided to teachers at PDS. The lesson plans ensure we are providing a consistent message to our students on being safe, respectful, and responsible!

Reflection Sheets

Students will fill out a reflection sheet when a teacher has provided redirection to a student and the undesirable behavior continues. Depending on the age, some will complete this independently, and then a staff member will help review it.

Dust Devil Depot

The Dust Devil Depot is where the students can visit to redeem their points.

Students shop online before arriving at the depot and completing the provided order form. This ensures students work towards their goals and creates an overall smooth process while in the depot.
