At PDS, we believe that optimal learning takes place when the school, home, and community work together for the benefit of all students. Parents and community members are encouraged to be a part of Bella Vista’s learning community.
A VOLUNTEER IS MANY THINGS: An extra pair of hands, a caring ear, a valuable resource for classroom enrichment, a bridge between our school program and the community. We cannot buy what volunteers give our school.
Whether you can give an hour a day, a week, or a month, your time can make a big difference in the lives of our students. Please consider becoming a volunteer. Volunteers are welcome in all areas of our school: classrooms, the library, the playground, etc. We’ll find a perfect fit for you!
EFofSV was founded in 2009, by Dr. Hal Thomas and a dedicated group of community leaders and SVUSD alumni for the purpose of enriching the learning environment of Sierra Vista Unified School District through raising and managing funds, encouraging endowments, and increasing public awareness of current and future public education challenges.
Since our inception in 2009, with help from our community, generous monetary donations, and the Halloween Spooktacular fundraising Bash we have identified and funded five major areas in which we can support and enhance the educational experience of our SVUSD students.

Individuals wishing to donate to extracurricular activities in our schools are able to claim an Arizona tax credit by completing the Tax Credit Form and returning it with payment to the school of their choice. Donations also can be made online through MySchoolBucks. Simply click on "Tax Credit Donations" in the left-hand menu and then select the program or school you wish to donate to.
Note: If you can't find the program, please be sure to check all the pages by clicking the arrow at the bottom of the list.
You do not need to have a student enrolled in school to contribute!
Arizona tax law (ARS 43-1089.01) allows taxpayers a credit for contributions made or fees paid to a public school for support of extracurricular activities. The credit is a dollar-for-dollar credit that is equal to the amount contributed or the amount of fees paid. However, the credit cannot exceed $200 for single taxpayers or heads of households. For married taxpayers who file a joint return, the credit cannot exceed $400.
The Pueblo del Sol Dust Devil PTO organizes a number of fundraisers and fun events throughout the year. Please be sure to read the Dust Devil Dispatch to stay up to date on these activities.

Our school participates in Box Tops for Education. This is an easy way to help raise funds to help our school.
Current students can bring in their Box Tops in an envelope or a baggie with their teacher's name written on the front. This is a fun way for students to participate in helping our school!
Box Tops also has created a mobile app that allows you to scan your receipt and instantly adds Box Tops to the school's earnings. Visit www.boxtops4education.com for more information and participating products.
Box Tops are worth 10 cents each for our school and they can add up! Be sure to ask friends and family members to save them for you also.
Thank you to our community members who help us by dropping off Box Tops!
