Our Lower Grades Bots had an amazing time using their PBIS points to buy a pizza experience! Last week, Chef Acosta and his crew joined us for two days, teaching the Bolts how to make their own personal pizzas and a delightful mouse-shaped dessert. Dressed in their perfect outfits, the students even made pizzas for the whole staff and delivered them to the office. What a fun and educational experience! 🌟 Huachuca Mountain Leadership Day 🌟
Friday was Leadership Day at Huachuca Mountain, and it was truly inspiring to see students from Pueblo Del Sol, Town and Country, Huachuca Mountain, Joyce Clark Middle School, and Buena High School come together for an afternoon filled with teamwork and positive peer relations!
Led by Principal Perez and Elson, along with Mrs. Galbraith and Mrs. Neitring, our student council members embarked on four different activities aimed at building strong bonds and leadership skills. From problem-solving challenges to collaborative projects, every moment was filled with growth and camaraderie.
After an afternoon of hard work, everyone gathered for a delicious dinner together, followed by an exciting kickball game to end the evening on a high note. We couldn't be prouder of our dedicated student councils for their commitment to leadership and unity!

We are writing to inform you about an incident that occurred this morning during our morning drop-off routine, involving a delivery truck in the parking lot.
This morning, there was a close call involving a student who was walking in the parking lot and a delivery truck. Thanks to the quick action of one of our staff members, the student was safely guided out of harm's way as the truck was backing up. We want to express our deepest gratitude to our vigilant staff for their swift response and dedication to ensuring the safety of our students.
It's important to note that the delivery truck involved in this incident is not employed with either SVUSD or SFE, our food service provider. Following the incident, our administration promptly contacted the trucking company responsible, and as a result, the driver involved will no longer be permitted to make deliveries to any SVUSD school.
We take the safety of our students and staff very seriously, and incidents like these serve as reminders of the importance of remaining vigilant, especially during busy times such as drop-off and pick-up. We encourage everyone to remain aware of their surroundings and to prioritize safety at all times.
Please rest assured that we are taking all necessary steps to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, including reviewing our procedures and reinforcing safety protocols.

🌟 Exciting day at JCMS! 🎓 Our 6th graders got a sneak peek into their future home for 7th grade. After a warm welcome from our Assistant Principal Skarhus, the JCMS Student Council led them on an awesome campus tour. They soaked in the sights and sounds, including a special performance by the JCMS band on our beautiful school grounds.
One highlight of the day? Learning about elective classes for next year! Parents, it's time to have that important conversation with your student. Make sure to fill out the paperwork included in their package and complete the survey enclosed.
