🌟 Teacher Feature: Mrs. Jurik – A Kindergarten Legend! 🌟 For 18 years, Mrs. Jurik has been a guiding light in the kindergarten classrooms of Village Meadows—helping little learners take their first big leap into education! 🏫✨ To her, kindergarten is a world of discovery, and she loves watching her students grow from playful preschoolers into confident first graders. Her classroom, affectionately called the Puppy Pack, is a warm and nurturing space where every child feels valued and supported—a perfect fit within the Wolf Pack family. 🐾💙 Mrs. Jurik embraces hands-on learning and small-group centers, always looking for new ways to spark curiosity and excitement in her students. She credits much of her success to her incredible paraprofessional, Mrs. Urbina, who works closely alongside her. 📝🎨📚 Outside the classroom, she’s a devoted grandmother, spending time at the Reid Park Zoo and Children’s Museum with her granddaughter. She enjoys knitting, reading, traveling, and family time—and this year, she’s preparing for an exciting new adventure: retirement! 🎉✈️ Principal Mrs. Wambach describes her perfectly: "Mrs. Jurik is more than a teacher—she’s an icon, a leader, and a transformative force in the lives of young minds. 🚀✨ 3rd Grade Roadrunners Reach for the Stars! ✨🚀 Last week, the 3rd graders in Ms. Cooley’s and Ms. Thuma’s classes showcased something truly out of this world! 🌍🌟 In Ms. Thuma’s reading class, students explored a chapter in the Wonders reading series about Earth and the planets. Instead of traditional workbook pages, they had the exciting option to get crafty and build their own solar systems—and they went all in! 🎨🪐 Each student received instructions and a rubric to guide their work, and they had about a week and a half to bring their solar system to life. The results?
